coral cove was just what we were looking for. I was born in JA and this was my husbands first visit to JA… I wanted to stay somewhere he would get the true island feel that I grew up with and that was exactly what we got! The ride through the beautiful Jamaican countryside was a great way to see the interior of the island, we stopped for a few Red Stripes and patties and took it all in. Coral cove was beautiful! The cove was the perfect place to float on a raft, feel the waves and take in the sunshine. The food was awesome. I made a few requests for some true Jamaican meals and got really yummy food… I miss my morning honey banana, the johnny cakes, fish, jerk, it all was so tasty. The staff is great and friendly… they wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the “doctor bird” room and loved it! The blue ocean to one side and the green mountains to the other… spectacular! Already planning our next visit!

THANKS SOOOOOOOO much again for your hospitality, flexibility to accommodate and please such a big group like my family and Brianna’s… We had a GREAT time. My special thanks to Richie, Sean – the Chef, the guy from the Bar ( that brought crabs and breadfruit ), Indiana, George and everybody else. You guys make us feel at home, I never thought we were going to have such a wonderful time.

Your kindness and hospitality will never be forgotten.

    GOD BLESS and thanks again!

Jamaica ROCKS and Coral Cove is simply fantastic! Little Bay is beautiful and rustically off the beaten path, perfect. The entire community was great.

A special shout out to the staff at CC- Waba, Richie, Yang, Mario, Michael, Donald, Sean, Popeye and everyone who made my first trip to Jamaica so incredibly awesome!! Plunging into the blue hole, dancing under the moon, painting, the marketplace and sandy beach in Negril, Bob Marley’s house and excursions through the jungle, floating in the cove, painting, snorkeling, dancing, eating, drinking, dancing, playing poker with coral, motorbike rides, the coastal route vs. the mountain route, eating, watching the children of Jamaica get out of/go to school, painting, Montego Bay traffic lights not working, dancing, walking on Little Bay Beach… shall I go on?

My brother, Stash has come back to the states with his new ~wife, Rachael~ and Grady, Mom and I were there (dad too) to welcome her into our family *Jamaican style*. This was a trip that has indeed secured a spot in my memory of favorite times, experiences and places and ‘when’ I return and I’m asked, “Is this your first time in Jamaica?” I will happily say, “No, Mon. I LOVE Jamaica!!”

We miss Coral Cove everyday!! We were married on the 4th of July this year at Coral Cove. Everything was perfect! This place is true Jamaican Style and we loved everything about it. Everyone there was like family by the time we left – Richie, Maxine, Waba, Donald, Yang, Richard, Sarge, Indiana, Teri, Popeye. These are just a handful of people who made our stay so enjoyable. Anything you want, just ask and they will make it happen! Little Bay is a quiet, laid back community and the people are wonderful. I have been to Jamaica 4 times and Coral Cove has won my heart. We hope to return some day to see all of our friends. (as soon as the new pool is finished!) We will always hold the people and the place very close to our hearts – the memories we have will last a lifetime. Thank you to each and everyone of you that touched our lives at Coral Cove. We miss you! One Love!

  8. Jeri Cochran Says:

Dear Steve & Staff, Thank you for making every minute at Coral Cove even more wonderful than we expected from the glowing testimonials we read before our visit. I have to say that the praise is well earned and that nothing we read online can really prepare you the Coral Cove experience. Mornings were amazing. The Blue Mountain coffee was perfect and while you’re drinking it the hummingbirds are feeding just a few yards from your table. Breakfast, like every meal at Coral Cove was special. Honestly, my husband and I could have split every meal and had more than enough food. We ate every meal outside. Elaine and Marcia want to know any special diets (diabetic, vegan) that you’re on and they are happy and committed to seeing that you enjoy your meals and of course NEVER go hungry. It is a great balance, they are taking care of you but always in way that is just right and not too little or too much. I miss them as much as I miss their food! Donald and Mario were always there with a Red Stripe or some ice cold rum and fruit drink, the bar is well stocked and whatever you want I’m pretty sure it is there. Donald and Mario, we miss you. We had a great night with newlyweds John and Anne sharing scary stories with Mario. Donald hooked Gary up with a long day of snorkeling that you could never get on an excursion at one of the big resorts. Coral Cove is the first place I have felt safe and comfortable enough to snorkel. I loved it, but I’m not sure I would want to try it anywhere else. Another thing, the place is CLEAN. Our room was perfect every day. They detail clean every day. As painful as it is to leave the property we did walk to the local school for a visit. I am so happy that we did. We went to 7 Mile Beach beach for about 10 minutes. After the quiet and relaxing experience at Coral Cove the loud music and the crowd is shocking. I agree with the other reviews, you can’t wait to get back home to Coral Cove. The cliff divers at Rick’s Cafe were good, I’m glad we saw that. Once you experience this there will always be a part of you trying to figure out when you can get back. Thank you to everyone at Coral Cove, we miss you all.

Hi Tyler, Ritchie and all the wonderful staff at Coral Cove. It was 6 Celsius when we landed in Toronto last night and a chilly -14 this morning in Ottawa, but the snow is mostly gone. Reed and I had a marvelous time staying with you and definitely plan to come back for the sun, the wonderful people, the food, the wonderful people, swimming in the lagoon, and especially the wonderful people!
    God bless
